About Elizabeth Hanes BSN RN
Elizabeth Hanes is a registered nurse, award-winning health journalist, and the founder of RN2writer, the leading professional communication platform for nurses. Since founding RN2writer in 2014, she has built the platform into a trusted resource serving a community of more than 70,000 nurses across the United States.
A graduate of both nursing school and a bachelor's program in creative writing, Elizabeth brings a rare combination of clinical credibility and editorial expertise to her work. Her bylines and client credits span some of the most recognized names in healthcare and media, including WebMD, Stanford University Health, GE Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Modern Healthcare, and Verywell Health, among many others. In 2010, she won the Online News Association award for best online commentary at a small site for her work at Caring.com.
Elizabeth continues to work as a freelance health writer and content strategist while leading RN2writer from Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is available for media interviews and expert commentary on professional communication in nursing, healthcare and marketing.
