Hi, I'm Beth. I help nurses build online businesses as writers and teachers.

I grew up wanting to be a nurse but was too timid to try. So I came to nursing at 40 — after two decades of administrative work and a freelance writing career that never quite took off.

I got exactly what I came for. I also got the bullying, the exhaustion, and the way the institution treated the people inside it.

In 2011, I made two decisions: I would design my life first and fit my work around it. And I would stop renting my license by the hour — and own it for my own benefit, instead.

I left the bedside and went full-time as a health writer. Turned out the nursing degree was the best thing I ever could have done for my writing career.

Today, I teach other nurses how to do the same — make a living without giving up their lives.

I can help you do it, too.

This is where life on your own terms begins
