That is also called an article

Start with This

Nurses document everything.

Subjective data. Objective data. Assessment. Plan.

That is also called an article.

Something Worth Knowing

Good news on the wellbeing front.

A 2025 systematic review of resilience and wellbeing programs for nurses, published in BMC Nursing, found consistently positive effects on individual nurses, on patient care, and on the work environment itself. Mindfulness-based practices were among the most effective interventions studied.

What this means for you.

Taking care of yourself is not a nice-to-have or a personal indulgence. It is a clinical intervention with a growing evidence base. The next time someone suggests that rest is optional for nurses, the research disagrees.

A Good Read

Most nurses have never written a white paper.

Most freelance writers have not either.

That is exactly the point.

White papers are the deliverable that separates writers who dabble from writers who build real income. And nurses are more qualified to write them than almost anyone else in the field, because white papers live or die on clinical credibility, and clinical credibility is something you cannot fake your way into.

This week’s blog post explains what a white paper actually is, why it commands premium rates, and why your background is not just an asset in this kind of work. It is the whole advantage.

One Small Step

Search LinkedIn for one job posting that mentions white paper writing for a healthcare or health technology company.

Read the job description.

Notice what credentials they are asking for.

You may already have them.

Take This with You

The gap between where you are and where you want to be is usually smaller than you think.

It is almost just one thing you did not know was possible.
