In this season of gratitude and giving thanks, we’re giving you a present: the forthcoming launch of RN2writer Daily, our new blog site that’s going to become your daily obsession. You can bookmark it right now, to access it easily after the launch (around January 1, 2022): RN2writer Daily.

RN2writer Daily continues our tradition of providing high-caliber, free information to help nurses (and all clinicians, really) become freelance writers. Here’s what you can expect.

Valuable Content Written by Seasoned Nurse Writers

We’re partnering with two experienced nurse writers (and RN2writer alumnae) to produce information-rich posts multiple times per week (and, eventually, on a daily basis – as the blog name implies). Please join us in welcoming to the editorial team:

Kara-Marie and Amy already are working hard to bring you news, reviews, tips, and strategies to stay abreast of industry trends and excel as a nurse writer.

Here’s a sampling of the titles they’re currently working on for you:

  • TK Strategies to Jumpstart Your Marketing in 2022
  • What is the Best Time of Day to Send an LOI?
  • Grammarly vs ProWritingAid vs Microsoft Word’s Native Grammar Checker: Which One is Best?
  • Vaccine Terms Every Nurse Journalist Must Know

We’ll kick off each week with a Marketing Monday post, and once a month we’re publishing a Wellness Wednesday post to help you avoid the health risks that can come from the sedentary lifestyle of freelance writing. We also anticipate bringing you periodic Tech Tuesday posts to help you stay current on various apps and other technologies used by freelance nurse writers and their clients, and on Fridays I’ll personally be bringing you glimpses of La Vida Freelance to inspire you to enjoy all the fruits of self-employment.

Opportunity to Make Money and See Your Byline in Print (well…Pixels)

A key goal of RN2writer Daily is to provide opportunities for all nurses to see their bylines in print (pixels) by opening to pitches from everyone. We hope this will occur by Q3 2022, so stay tuned. (And, by the way, your support will help make this possible. When you click a link on RN2writer Daily and make a purchase, we’ll earn some money to pay more writers.)

We’ll be publishing our RN2writer Daily Writer Guidelines on the site, so you can get a sense of what we’re looking for, word counts, and pay rate (competitive). If we accept your pitch, you’ll not only receive a check but an author page and bio at RN2writer to raise your online profile – and help clients find you for more paying assignments!

Changes to the Newsletter, Too

We appreciate each of you who takes the time to send us a comment about the weekly newsletter every time it publishes. Your support means everything to us!

When we transition over to RN2writer Daily, the newsletter will be changing a bit, too, and we wanted to make you aware of these changes in advance:

  • The newsletter will now automatically generate after every three blog posts we publish, which means it will arrive on random days and occasionally more than once a week (instead of every Wednesday, like it has on the current schedule).
  • The newsletter format will change to include only the current blog posts, plus a listing of older posts you may have missed.
  • But don’t worry! This doesn’t mean your favorite features (like La Vida Freelance and Inspiration) are going away. Instead, these features now will appear as blog posts on the website, so that they’re accessible to everyone. You’ll receive them conveniently bundled in the new newsletter after they publish on the web.

You do not need to do anything to begin receiving the new version of the newsletter when we start sending it! You’ll automatically be added to the list, and if it turns out you’d prefer not to subscribe to the new version of the newsletter, you can simply click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom to remove yourself.

Are You as Excited as We Are?

As you may be aware, RN2writer is a mission-driven company. We believe all healthcare communications should be written by nurses, and we want to see nurse-created content become the standard for excellence in healthcare communications over the next decade.

In support of our mission, we strive to bring you the best educational products and information we possibly can, from our new, free blog RN2writer Daily to The RN2writer Show on YouTube/Apple/Spotify to our social media and, of course, our paid coaching programs.

We are beyond excited to bring you this latest, free initiative to help YOU become a successful freelance writer, and we hope you’re as excited as we are to subscribe to RN2writer Daily – launching around January 1, 2022.
